Polônia – Volta às Origens

Conhecer a Polônia foi a realização de um grande sonho meu. Tive um “encontro de almas” na terra da minha Babunia (vovozinha) e acho que todo mundo que for ao Leste Europeu deveria conhecer.

Os poloneses são bonitos, sabem comer com sabor e sem excesso.

Vodka, torta de maçã, drinks, sopa, neve, salão de beleza, crianças pela rua, merengue, vinho, pierogis, da pra ser mais feliz? Não sei, mas me encontrei nesse lugar!

Sopas são o must da terra. Imperdíveis desde o mercado de rua aos restaurantes ais chiques.

Preparem-se para frio no inverno. Muita neve e anoitece às 15:30 (o que significa que na hora do lanche dá pra pedir uma taça de vinho pra continuar a caminhada no gelo)!

As vodcas (aguazinhas) são imbatíveis.

Desde o século oitavo há traços desta versão líquida da batata que durante um tempo foi utilizada (foi?) como remédio. A primeira vez que a internet diz que houve referência ao nome vodca foi na corte polonesa em 1405 (Akta Grodzkie).

A versão de cereja é algo de rezar.

Varsóvia

Maior, mais cosmopolita, mais leve. Warsaw é muito mais que eu imaginava.

Gente simpática, grandiosos prédios, senti certa familiaridade e senso de pertencimento.

Ficamos no Hotel Polônia Palace lindo, clássico e elegante nos super simpáticos com um drink de boas vindas em um bar elegantíssimo, com decoração requintada, música lindamente executada ao piano e um saguão muito fofo e de bom gosto (estilo tradicional).

Sem duvida o primeiro Pierogi (raviolões de massa rústica) surpreendeu pela leveza do espinafre e massa caseira única! A cidra docinha e um prato de porco sequinho com nhoques ligeiramente tostados e salada de repolho e maçã foi um cartão de visitas delicioso no Zascianek (restaurante ao lado do Hotel).

Um dos bares mais cool que conhecemos foi o Klar – Drinks estupendos, Camembert derretido com mel de abacaxi e tomilho e a melhor sopa de batata do mundo (com couve flor, pimenta calabresa e algo de lemon pepper) em sensação não conhecida antes de sabor. Pequenino, super fashion e 200m da praça principal. Amei!!!! ❤

Passeamos também por um bar com mais de mil rótulos de whisky em que pode fazer degustação com charutos. O interessante é que a casa não tem carta de drinks, tudo é feito na hora de acordo com o que você gosta e o que o barman acha que irá gostar. Alguns drinks tropicais super diferentes no Dom Whisky.

Um jantar inesquecível foi o do restaurante Roxana. Ambiente lindo, música ao vivo, mesas tradicionais, doces enormes. Tartares delicadíssimos e lindos, e pratos de pato e ganso- ao molho de frutas. O carrinho de sobremesa parece uma sessão de fotos pinterest. Mas enche. É bom reservar.

Por fim, o familiar Gospoda Polski no centro velho finalizou a nossa estadia com louvor. Uma casinha perto do centro com comida saborosa e ambiente familiar nos ganhou.

 

Krakow

Cidade mais simpática que conheci!

A Cidade Velha (Miasto Kraków) é cheia de casinhas, restaurantes fofos, clubes de jazz e ofertas de concerto em igrejas.

Ir na época de natal te da uma experiência única do mercado de natal na praça com sopas e pierogis variados, queijos tostados na hora, vinho quente com especiarias (Wino – Mulled Wine).

O restaurante de nosso hotel Unicos (boutique, super in) era italiano e extremamente bom! Os frutos do mar, risoto e massa pareciam saídos direto de uma descoberta na Itália. Mas o chef era polonês, garanti!

Fomos em um ótimo show de jazz no Harris Jazz Bar e assistimos uma futura estrela Ayanna Coleman-Potempa! Me lembrou a Amy no início de carreira. Que voz!

 

Tudo na Polônia é bonitinho. Cada cantinho, cada detalhe, muito aconchegante.
