Cerveja: aprendizados e descobertas

Para mim é difícil escrever sobre o assunto, vez que não é dos meus amores principais.

Peço sempre aos colaboradores mais experientes que me ajudem no tema.

Mas não há como ter um Blog sobre gastronomia sem se dedicar um pouco ao tema.

Visitei recentemente o museu da cerveja em Praga. A bebida, não remonta só historicamente ao Egito, mas representa uma economia mundial incrível e é um estilo de vida. Os tchecos são o povo que mais consome per capita, apesar de a Alemanha também ter um volume impressionante. O Brasil, os EUA e a China chegam no topo por conta de quantidade de pessoas.

Mas houve momentos em que a cerveja me apaixonou.

Na minha lua de mel provei as de cereja Kriek e maçã em Brugges – uma cidade linda, encantadora, com os melhores waffles do Mundo! Vendidos em carrocinhas, chocolates e cerveja. (também visitamos uma fábrica de cervejas e quase perdi o marido, pois o tour terminava com um terraço sem proteção para quedas…). Os Belgas sabem Viver.

No Rio, tenho que confessar que a primeira vez que eu me rendi foi no pequeno e poderoso Brasserie Brejauvas “Ok, o bar venceu, batata frita”. On The rocks, de frutas vermelhas, a Leffmans também veio direto da Bélgica. O dono do Brejaúvas me ganhou com o “se você não gostar, eu bebo”. Por princípio, eu provei – e curti -parece uma caipira sem tanto doce. Indo lá, não deixe de comer duas coisas: o calzone que acho o melhor do Rio e a palha italiana quente. De rezar!

O Pessoal da W-Katzz lançou em 2017 uma escura que logo foi para o Mondial de la Bièr que achei especialíssima. Toques doces e com personalidade, o lançamento no Leblon me fez rever o conceito cerveja em lata escura.

No estilo Burger + Chope, acho que Caveira, o Escondido, CA e o Lupulino merecem destaque.

O Escondido veio primeiro. Têm uma carta vastíssima e tinha um hambúrguer de lagosta que era sensacional com uma maionese de wasabi.

O Caveira com jeito irreverente e dois hambúrgueres especiais no dia para mim são campeões na combinação de pães e recheios variados.

O Lupulino também tem uma grade bem ampla de opções e o melhor veggie burguer de cogumelos que conheço.

Enfim, começo sobre cervejas, termino falando de comida…. 

O que dizer? Ainda tenho o que aprender!
